Awaaz Magazine (2025)

Awaaz Magazine is a bi-annual publication by idhar-udhar press dedicated to amplifying the voices of South Asian artists, writers, and creatives who are often overlooked in mainstream creative spaces. Founded to create space for representation and community, Awaaz—meaning “voice” in Hindi and Urdu—operates primarily through submissions and aims to build an archive of work shaped by and for the diaspora. The inaugural issue, Genesis, focuses on themes of South Asian identity.

Role: Co-founder and art director, responsible for overall design, typesetting, visual identity, and editorial curation.
Impact: Successfully launched the inaugural issue, expanding visibility for South Asian creatives and fostering community engagement.






roots/routes (2025)
Published under idhar-udhar press, roots / routes is a printed publication that examines identity, belonging, and memory within the south asian diaspora. The project combines personal essays with curated found materials—such as archival photos, poetry, and oral histories—to document and reflect on both individual and shared experiences. It presents a look at how cultural history and personal narrative intersect across generations and geographies.

Role: Designer, writer & editor, responsible for layout, visual storytelling, and integrating mixed media elements.
Impact: Created a multi-dimensional publication that deepens engagement with diaspora narratives through layered personal and historical content.





Business Connect U.S. Catalog (2025)
Business Connect’s U.S. 2025 Catalog, a B2B product overview and mission-driven guide designed to connect businesses with innovative solutions across key industry sectors.

Role: Graphic designer responsible for layout, visual hierarchy, and ensuring brand consistency throughout the catalog.
Impact: Delivered a clear, engaging guide that streamlined client understanding of products and reinforced the company’s mission.
